- Purchase and/or stock environmentally-friendly, sustainable products
- Buy local whenever practical
- Encourage use of reused plastic, paper or fabric bags for merchandise
- Purchase renewable energy
- Incorporate green building standards into renovations or new buildings
- Install water catchments
- Plant drought-tolerant trees and vegetation
- Buy fuel-efficient, low emissions cars for your business use
- Increase conference calls and video conferencing to reduce employee travel or purchase carbon offsets for travel
- Educate your clientele with signage, share your knowledge
- Advertise your greenness
